Many of the offers listed above are for branded items. As this site has demonstrated many, many times before, store own brand items are often much cheaper - all year round. And they're usually the same and made by the branded manufacturers anyway. For example, while Nestle Shreddies may be half price now, buy Sainsburys or Tesco Malted Wheats any time of the year, usually less than half the Nestle price and exactly the same.

What these "offers" really show is how much mark-up there is on the branded manufacturers products. And how much they think we're mugs for buying them.
