    Not sure if I have missed it in the thread- has a date been set yet?

    Mad as it sounds, I want to start looking at B+B availability/flight/train prices and the earlier the date can be set the better, pennies wise.

    If not, can I start the suggestion ball rolling with the weekend of the 14th September? With the main meet maybe on Saturday 15th?

    Kids are back at school so prices will be lower but it is before the Conservative conference at the end of September.

    :confused: I think our master is having a lie down!

    Anyhow 14th is okay by me! And hopefully I will be able to see you all, I am having my eyes lasered on the 18th May. After wearing glasses for 35 years, I am a little scared that I won't actually like what I look like (i am fuzzy round the edges a the moment!)

    In true DFW style i decided that having my eyes lasered was the money saving option. New glasses = £200 (I have to have nice ones) every couple of years for a long time against 2 eyes at £395 each. So in eight years the surgery will have paid for itself.
