I would have thought mid september would be best, the kids are still off for the 1st and the end is conference season as keren said. That said, I guess the kids will be off anyway as it's a weekend, but it might be quieter than the last weekend of the school holidays.:A

Hi all...Living in Blackpool I can say there are loads of guesthouses for about £15 per night ...there are also a couple of travel lodges.... I also know of a very reasonable Thai place if these are any use to you0
