I'll come, if both meets are on different days I'll do both, it would be nice to meet everyone. That's assuming I'm still here though.

Hi everybody, hope you don't mind me gatecrashing! I'm not a DFW but I am an Old Styler and we had a Blackpool meet last year attended by Ticklemouse, Nelski, squeaky, monkeygirl, chickadee, Caterina, JackieO, apprentice tycoon, and (obviously) me :D

We did a deal with the Grosvenor Hotel, which is run by the lovely Neil and his lovely (slightly scary... you looking at my man?) wife Amanda - £20 pppn, or £18pppn if you were there for more than one night.

    http://www.blackpool-hotels.co.uk/grosvenorhotel.html

We got there on the Friday and went for a cheap Chinese at a local place.

On the Sat we split into "people who wanted to go bargain shopping" and "people who wanted to go to the Pleasure Beach". Pleasure Beach was fab. Tesco Clubcard vouchers would effectively enable you to get 75% off. www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=182 Alternatively this link may be of use: http://www.daysout.co.uk/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Daysout.woa/wa/voucher?page=north

We had a bit of a fiasco finding somewhere to eat on the Saturday night - we'd been recommended a fish & chips restaurant but when we got there it was closed. However we found a fab Indian, very very reasonably priced: http://www.saathibrasserie.com/

Oh yes... and here are the photos and goss! http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=194379

I hope this helps (PM me if necessary) and I hope also that you all have a fab time :j :j

So long as we all do - it won't matter.
