Pink and navy is a lovely combination, or turquoise and navy, or lilac/lavender and navy....

Yellow and navy is good too.

Or all of the above together, if you are feeling really brave....

I see nothing wrong with cream or red with navy! Black and navy on the other hand, doesn't go at all. I had to wear black shoes and navy uniform to school for 14 years!

Generally anything except black goes with navy. I wear tights a lot and were navy tights with a navy dress or a multicoloured dress.

Red and cream (white as well) work brilliantly with navy! Many colours work with it. Ignore your mums rules

Black you need to be careful with,if it's separated from the navy with a different colour it's not so bad but it's not an easy one and far from the best combination!In general it looks dreadful lol

My DD wears navy tights with red dress and a red tartan skirt. OK she's 4 but I think she looks fine. I'd wear cream or white too.
I never ever wear black and navy though.......doesn't mesh well IMHO.

I wouldn't do black and navy. I don't think I'd do dark brown and navy either but I reckon anything else would go fine

Navy and black is popular right now it's under one of he old rules hat should be brisk. As they can look really nice together it's all about accessorising

Any of the other colours mentioned would look great though (why did you buy navy tights though and then look for something to go with them, surely it should be the other way round?:D:p)

I tend not to wear navy and black together.
For navy tights I'd wear navy skirt and shoes and maybe a teal or a plum colour on top, or even a cream, but have to be careful with that and how you suit cream anyway.
