Thanks. Tried it for 1 day hire and it didn't work. Guess the min hire day is 7 days.

I'd scrap that, as it appears now that the MoneySupermarket fee waiver is not worth the paper it is printed on.

And it also appears that the bookings are for Easirent. Who make a PAD charge of £1,250 on your card.

Well I'd be wary of this, due to the fact that it appears that the deposit to hire the car is £1,250.

Feel like I've been took for a ride, no pun intended.

As, as I've mentioned, Travelthingio alluded to the fact that I had cancellation cover, which it turns out I haven't.
