Hi
What about your monthly income/outgoings. For the best help details is good.
But like me you have store cards - evil little things. Try snowballing. I'll post the link for you. But I would suggest paying this off first as it has the highest interest. I'm going to cancel mine this time as it is just to tempting to spend on them!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
How inhabitable is the house you're doing up-any chance you can get one room finished in a few weeks and just bite the bullet and move in?0

Hi
Is there any chance you could move into your house and save on rent?
I know you are saying it needs work doing to it, but so does ours, so far we have gone 2 months without a kitchen (no sink or anything) you do get by and it will save you loads of money in rent
ooohh you got there before me!!0 -
thanks suzyp - we are moving in very shortly but currently there is a lot of work being done on the heating and electrics which means the place is in complete devastation! Should be done in the next fortnight though and then we'll be in like a shot! We also have a large dog who's a complete blunderbus and it needs to be safe for him to move in with us!
How are you managing without a kitchen?0 -

Once you know how much you can spend on your debt each month, have a play with this.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Well it was hardwork to go from having every tool imaginable to not having anything but you get used to it, we've got taps in the bathroom so its not like we are completly cut off! ive done a make shift kitchen in our bedroom and we have a little gas canister till boil things and our bbq to cook!
(although we did have a cooker for the majority of the time)0
