Saucepan recommendations

Hi all

I am after a new set of saucepans. I currently have a full set of le creuset which are great but sometimes not always the best ... They are very old and some of the enamel has worn thin so some food sticks.

I'll never get rid but could do with a metal set to use along side them.

Any ideas /recommendations?

I used to have Le Crueset but they are so heavy.

I went on to a set of Tefal non-stick but they wear after a while.

My mum was downsizing so I now have some Stellar stainless steel pans which are probably pricey but worth it. They have thick copper bottoms which heat up quickly and hold the heat so you don't have to have the gas on too long.

I bought these about a year ago after reading the reviews - they are excellent for the money!

Not too heavy, really speed up the cooking time and wash up like new. Like the op, I've kept my old (very expensive) pans 'just in case' but they have not been called upon since purchasing the new ones.

I have used the Raymond Blanc Analon pans for the past year, pans, easy to keep clean, and good heat distribution. They are expensive, but I bought them in the Debenhams sale for around £100 for a set of four, plus found others in TK Max, they are on offer at the moment. plus when I looked, there is an additional 10% discount code of BF67. best of luck

Another vote for Anolon, have had mine nearly 3 years now. Amazon generally have the sets at a good price.

I've had my stellar pans for about 18 years and they are fab. I once left a pot of beans simmering for about 4 hours in one - there were on fire when I remembered! After a soak and scrub it was fine!!
