Big surprise there Paul.....only open to US users. I had suspected things would slow up when they talked of expansion. Expansion usually means more big wages for the people running the thing and a concentration on keeping the new business additions happy. Long term 'employees' (drones) are often shoved aside in the stampede to establish the new sections. That is very simplistic,but is how I see it cos I'm rather simple possibly...:o0

I'm not sure if this has got anything to do with the lack of surveys (I was thinking that maybe they are concentrating on rolling this out in the States and forgetting about us) but it's interesting that around the time that this blog was posted, we started to get fewer and fewer surveys
http://blog.swagbucks.com/2012/12/introducing-survey-profiles.html
This is just my theory, and I may be wrong and doing Swagbucks a disservice, but as far as I'm aware, Swagbucks are only the 'middle man' in the survey process. It seems to me that they allow the companies to offer surveys to Swagbucks members (a captive audience, if you will) for a fee. We as members complete a survey and it is then uploaded to the company who say 'yes we got this - it's OK to credit member such and such with swagbucks'. This way, Swagbucks make a profit by giving us less than the survey companies pay them. If the companies don't issue the surveys in the first place, then surely, even though Swagbucks are not directly responsible, they should be going back to the companies and saying that their members are complaining. Having said that, it's a win-win situation for Swagbucks. They still get paid by the survey companies, they don't have to give us as much in earnings and it forces us to watch SBTV which brings in additional advertising revenue to Swagbucks. As I say, I am only guessing here and others may have better theories/info
Let's say it's a cosmetics survey:
MAC -> Toluna -> Swagbucks -> User
Really, it'd make more sense to do the survey at Toluna and get maybe 50p for your trouble, instead of 50 swagbucks which are actually worth about 8p (each SB is worth 0.6 p). In a way, them being absolute barstools forces you (or allows you) to do the original survey at Toluna (or wherever).
But then again you miss daily targets... which loses you 300 SBs a month, say, which is about 50p.
What's most enraging is that SB get paid anyway...
EDIT: One of Swagbucks better features is that it's always accessible. I often wait weeks for a survey from the sites I'm signed up with, and I've been with a few for months and not made enough to cash out (which is usually £20). Yet I can make £25 a month on SB for same vouchers. Yet I fret about missing SBs - and milo, btw, I don't find you irritating at all, in fact, you're the voice of my antagonism towards their poor customer service department - which maybe tot up to a £1 altogether. It's not about that. It's about knowing you can sign up for some spammy offer or a survey, day or night, and get paid enough for it that you can get a guaranteed voucher at the end of the month. What I'm mad about is the lack of stability.0 -
Not got that Grepolis (or whatever) offer either. Bit annoyed as would get me to my next cashout target. Any other good offers around at the moment?0

Put in a ticket, Serenity. I have. Going to give 'em hell if they don't pay up.0

No surveys for the 4th day in a row 8/100 with 10 sb to come from games!
oh well 10 sb for "where are all the surveys"0 -

Exactly.
I'm running SBTV when I can in order to get the goals.
I'm doing surveys on Toluna and there isn't a limit of credits for one per day.
Plus, if I get screened out I get a prize draw entry. I know I won't win but it's better than a big fat zero from swagbucks.0 -
