Oh god I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult yous.
I too used similar sites a while back, until I discovered other methods that suit me better .

I just wanna say that there are some brilliant ways to make money online, ..they may require a bit of work at the start, but after that it's consistent passive income....serious cash...(like £60 a day, 7 days a week)

But sure if it works for you, it works for you :)

In fairness though, an extra £25 a month on top isn't bad actually :)

hello. can you expand on this a bit please?

    Ah no worries,
To be honest, I haven't looked too much into swagbucks, but if it offers truly passive income (eg. just for watching ads, no clicking required)...then would it be possible to scale it up a little, & run it in the background on multiple computers,..maybe get friends to set it as a second homepage so that you earn while they surf the web?

Again, I don't know too much about SB, and that may be against the rules, but it's just an idea :)

The multiple comps is... but not getting friends to set it up.

Speaking of which let me know if you want a referral lol ;P (just kidding there should be a mse post where people offer referrals).

I would say it is hard work for the pay back, but popping in to click things while I can adds up to a nice wee bit extra for me.

I got seriously fed up of sbtv so I downloaded the bigfish games for 800sb (cost £1.61 i think for the game)
Following :money: to keep us debt free :j
  • Well, I just got a DS on soft drinks which said it would take 30mins. I wasn't sure if it was the one that didn't credit for everyone else a few days ago but gave it a go.

Less than 1 minute, only 2 questions on soft drinks and gave me 70SB.
    Confused but happy :j

Can you explain how you could do this passively or otherwise please? We'd all love to know.

Okay, well I'm not sure how valuable this will be to you, it completely depends on the person & the mindset.

Now obviously I can't give you my exact method, it wouldn't be fair considering the countless hours I have put into making this work. Sorry! :/

The important thing to remember about passive income is that it's not effortless. Not in the slightest. If I was to define passive income it would be "Working your !!! off for a short period of time, in order to provide for the long term." ..but I'm sure others would simply call it earning while you sleep. Which is true to a certain extent.

You see, it's not about working hard. It's about working smart. There's kids in Africa who work 15 hours+ for under a dollar a day. :( ...and then there's people who earn a dollar a minute (not me haha,...yet)

    Now, about working smart.
To be smart is to be intelligent. To be intelligent is to have knowledge, and fortunately today, knowledge is at a premium.

This will sound pretty cliche, but find your niche.
Find a subject area that interests you, something that you have a passion for. Whether it be computers, golf, gardening, shopping, renovation...hell even pizza!

Next, learn absolutely everything about that topic. Read all the books, all the articles, listen to all the podcasts, watch all the videos, go to all the seminars. Gain the knowledge, absorb all of it, become a walking encyclopedia.

Now, become the "Go To" person. This can take a bit of work, to process all the information, and to gain the recognition. When someone would like to find out about, say... holidays in spain. (where to go, what to do, what to see, where to stay, when to go, how to get there, culture, food, shopping, hotels, etc. etc. etc.) They have 2 options.

    1. Search google- get several million results, become bombarded with information, significantly varying in quality, and spend hours trying to piece it together.

    2. Think, "Hmm holidays in Spain, I hear Spiritwood is the informed & insightful person, I'll go to their site.

    Finally, monetize your site.
Fortunately there's plenty of high quality info available on this subject..but it's essentially advertising, affiliate programs, & sale of products/services (ebooks, webinars etc.) a quick google search will give you fairly detailed info

Now, sit back, relax, and let the cash roll in.

    So in short.
Millions of people want/need information. They don't have time to scour the internet in search of it.

    So....
You do it for them. You learn everything. You sort the information out, and break it down into short, clear, concise content. Then you monetize that content.

The key thing to remember is that you are 1 person, whereas there are thousands of people that need the information, the knowledge that you have. You can save thousands of people, thousands of hours (combined) in something that will only take you a few dozen hours (or more depending on the topic)

Now obviously, it would help a lot if you knew the basics of web design, had good English, knew about SEO, etc...but knowledge is the crucial part.

Don't get stuck in a rut, earning minimum wage for the rest of your life. Learn, gain knowledge, and monetize that information. Use swagbucks too, but make it complimentary to your other passive income streams.

Sure, there's other hundreds of other methods of making money online (many of which I employ) ...but this is the best for the the average person, who may not be the most, tech savvy. Pretty much anyone can use this method. :)

    Good Luck!

thanks for that. i have looked at some of the affiliate progs but none are related to my interests and specialism however you have sparked an idea so thank you

Cyber735 I already have a niche website but it only occasionally earns £60 or more in one day, mostly it's a couple of pounds a day and that's it. There was an idea going the rounds a few years ago where you started 100 niche websites and monetised them. The person who did this successfully worked 16 hours a day keeping them up but he did earn a large income in return. You can't just leave a site alone. Eventually the rankings will drop and so will your income.
