    Wow, looking at it , i have paid off 3649 pounds plus change , which is peanuts :-( should have been around 5-6000. I have loads more to go , so re-doing budget and starting again today !

    managed 7.5k of overpaments on the mortgage for 2012, hope to keep going at that kind of rate but have been blessed with baby boy so we shall see!

    We paid off £6,000, leaving just £2,000.

    I paid that last £813 off a loan, leaving me DF in 2012. Add a £500 overpayment to the mortage, and that gives a thread total of

    £363,831.17
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
