Well it all started with my childhood :rotfl:

I adopted a bunny rabbit at the weekend. I am like a new parent and am completely obsessed with my beautiful little bunny. So far there's been the indoor hutch, the food, hay, sawdust, the indoor play pen, the toys.... oh dear!! :T

Oh how lovely, I would like a house rabbit, but we go away a lot and OH will not let me have one (no-one close enough to look after one, anyway I do have a lovely dog, who would probably want to eat it!

Make sure the hutch door has a good fastener, a friend had one who ate through cables and chewed the woodwork:rotfl:
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)
  • He's currently in the playpen in the lounge, alternating between laying flat out, legs stretched out behind him, watching tv, or rattling the wire at me and glaring. He keeps doing binky jumps all around the room when not in a cage.

He's fairly relaxed but is an indoor bunny who loves throwing himself around the carpet when out of his hutch. He's going to need a lot of toys to stop him chewing his way out in due course I think!

Double Wear is Estee Lauder and is a medium to full coverage. They do a light version which is light to medium coverage. They also do a foundation called Invisible which is very nice, long lasting and easy to apply and this is light coverage but buildable.

Maybelline do a BB cream which is very nice, it glides on with hardly any effort.

I am really impressed with the Maybelline BB cream, I had run out of my Clinique Foundation, was post op so could not get to replace it easily, so thought what the hell, I can always use it up when gardening, but it is brilliant, I don't need much coverage and the medium shade works great for me with a sweep of blusher.

Thanks for the recommendation ladies. I think I have confused myself with this one. Will have a look at the BB cream as I am trying to watch the pennies.

What a lovely addition Rogueylawyer :)

I also seen Paloma Faith. She was in Glasgo last night. What a show - fabulous!

Roguey that bunny sounds so cute and cuddly!

not much to report, just enjoying nice smelling toiletries :)
  • Congrats Roguey, how cute!

I've treated myself to a Micro Pedi after coveting one for the last few weeks - Look Fantastic had originally been the cheapest but had gone up a fiver when I relooked so I've gone for 123 Hair & Beauty £32.90 less 5% discount for liking their FB page and free delivery so not bad. Looking forward to that arriving and I don't even need to count it as an IN :D

Sold a few bits of makeup on Ebay, one woman offered the RRP for a Dior lipstick I had as I think its been discontinued, that went off to a very swish sounding address in London, a far more glamorous new destination!:T Almost paid for the Micro Pedi too :)

Re. the Benefit makeup on there, I'd say the majority unfortunately is fake, you only have to look at the quantities, prices and feedback. There will be some genuine stuff though if you're willing to search for it. Same goes for Urban Decay, tonnes of fake NAKED palettes on there, don't know how they get away with it when they seem so strict on other things like only letting me list a tiny amount of Dior stuff despite having 100% positive feedback, previously selling similar items and having had my account for years...

I will be extremely glad when tomorrow is over in work, done silly hours so far and only Tues!! Once tomorrow is over, it should all be down hill from there, fingers crossed!

I don't know how people get away with it either - I have had problems with listing single genuine products! I have noticed that some people list as "factory seconds" which I am guessing may mean not genuine!

Congrats on your bunny roguey - sounds adorable :D
  • I am stepping away from the laptop, before I buy one of the Burts Bees grab bags!!
  • Hi everyone :)

I've been a bit quiet lately, life keeping me busy. Little DD turned 2 last week and she had a little tea party which went very well (still eating the leftover cake). Where has the time gone, she's not a baby anymore!

I have fallen off the wagon in spectacular style in the last week or so :o A few naughty INs to declare:

    Nivea Happy Time shower cream
Nivea Pearl Beauty deoderant (both bought as part of the Wilko deal)
Botanics Radiant Red shampoo x 2 (for 66p each from Boots as they're being discontinued. Love these, so few products on the market for red hair!)
A freebie sachet of Natural Sense for your bebe moisturising soothing cream (from a sales rep, gorgeous stuff but costs the earth!)

AND...while in Boots I saw their perfume/moisturiser sets on offer and they had one of the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire ones left that was reduced to £21. Tried a sample of this perfume last year and loved it, so gave in and bought it. :o So now have a 30ml perfume bottle and 75ml body milk bottle of the stuff. Very naughty me.

I'm saving my Boots points up so I can get some Benefit Lemon Aid as peopl here make it sound great. Only need about 50p more in points I think...

Rosemary, very jel that you were in Chester, lived there for a few years in the early 2000s and loved it. Shopping there is ace, I miss it. Glad things are looking up for you. :)

    Your bunny sounds gorgeous roguey!
