Co-op electricals

Hi everyone, me again - sorry!.
I guess no one has a Beko washing machine or you are not very impressed with them but I wonder if any of you can recommend Coop electricals. I am torn between purchasing from Currys or Coop electricals, any good or bad dealings with either may help me choose.
Many thanks

I got a breadmaker from there, though cannot remember if they used a courier, however, it arrived when it was due.

If you have a local Currys and the price is the same, you would be able to take it up with them if there was anything wrong.

coop everytime unless there is a local independant, deliver when they say they will in a given time slot even down in wettest cornwall.

and the prices are competetive and sometimes comes with better guarantees that the electrical sheds and always been better to deal with in my experience

not got a beko washer, but our cooker / dishwasher and garage freezer are all beko - the cooker felt better made than the alternatives at the same money, it was either a shed own brand dishwasher or the beko for the same price and the beko felt slightly more robust (but not a patch on our old bosch but less than half the price) the garage freezer was the only one we could get that works at low temperature so no choice. when it came to the washer we stayed with bosch as we wanted a washer/dryer and with the coop it came with 2 year warranty.
  • Used co-op for our old tumble dryer (about 3-4yrs ago) no problems & would use them again. Currys have been fine too, had TV & surround sound delivered & new washer/dryer nice helpful staff.

Don't forget you can also earn Coop membership points on electricals. I bought a breadmaker from them recently costing £120 and earned points worth 60p. Not a lot, but better than nothing especially if buying something like a washing machine. If you don't have a membership card, google 'coop membership and rewards' for further details. Sorry, not able to post link.
  • I have a beko washing machine and dishwasher, bout 8 months old now and it's perfect. Had a hotpoint before and it kept on stinking of mildew around the seal. The beko has been no trouble at all, cost me £200 on offer. I reckon co-op are worth checking out for electricals as often their prices are pretty good.

I have a small load (5kg) beko washing machine and I bought it from co op 14 months ago.

I am very happy with it and the service from them. It was slightly dinted at the bottom when delivered, just a tiny dint from when it was in the warehouse or being loaded I suspect. I emailed my disappointment and they immediately offered a replacement or a discount of £30 off. I accepted as it really was a small dint.

I bought through quidco, so with cashback and the £30 off it worked out at £139.99
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
  • I've used Co-op Electricals several times and have been really happy with them.

I had an e-mail from them recently offering the following discounts until 31st January:

    TIME10 - £10 off £150
    TIME20 - £20 off £300
    TIME30 - £30 off £500

I'm sure I've seen these codes posted somewhere but can't find them now but I don't think they're specific to me.

There's also 2.52% on Topcashback. In the past my transactions have always tracked really quickly and paid out in a reasonable timeframe.
