Nationwide timescales/process

I wonder if anyone can give me a rough idea on the current Nationwide timescales for processing a mortgage and the procedure.
Have AIP with them and a call arranged tonight to finish off the application as we need less than the AIP.
What happens next? Will they credit check again, what documents will they need.
Any infomation appreciated.

I've just completed through nationwide.
Did you go through your local branch?
I did all the credit checks, proof of earnings & ID checks in the branch with them. They then send the application to newcastle who deal with it from there on.
It took about 2 weeks but this included the easter weekend.0 -
No the orginal AIP was done online, and due to us wanting less than that figure we are finishing the details over the phone tonight, as the online system won't let you change to amount.
Understand that they are very busy at the moment so wondered if that will slow things down.
