Well a job tattooing other people is the job least likely to be discriminated against if you have tattoos isn't it!0

Someone with lip/eyebrow piercings and/or visible tattoos is another matter.
You are assuming that I'm female! My user name is based on Amanita Muscaria which is better known as the traditional spotted toadstool and somewhat toxic.0 -

No I was not assuming YOU are a female. I said those are OK on a female...IMHO
Besides..you seem to be a female (looking at previous posts) so - not sure what the problem is?0 -

Why are you doing this? Do you think you will be less of a person without the wig on? If you really meant what you said you wouldn't feel the need to wear a wig for the wedding (i.e. hiding something you don't want others to see...a bit like employers and tattoos)
As a side, I have a tattoo and would hire people with tattoos in a customer facing role but I just found your comments really interesting.
I won't be hiding it, I'm not hiding it right now. I would say nearly all of our guests already know about it. I dislike it, but I live with it and I am choosing to look my best on my wedding day, and I would like my hair to look nice as well as the rest of me, so I made the decision to choose to wear a wig instead of my hair looking unkept as it always does.
I'm not discriminating against myself, but it is a part of myself I do not like, and I want to look back on the happiest day of my life and know that I did the best I could do and I looked the best I could.Back to comping after a 3-year hiatus :j0 -
i have a tongue piercing amongst quite a few other piercings, i'm well into my 40s and have only missed out of one job because of it and like my husband said 'well, would you want to work there anyway?'
i work in education and was head hunted for my current role. no one where i work has any problems with how i look.
no tatts, but i have no problems with them, but i can never decide what to get, loads of our friends have them and i think they look good.
i would rather be dealt with with someone with tatts and or piercings who is polite and good at their job than someone who is unmodded but didnt care as much.'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -

Isn't it amazing how SUESMITH's interviewer could openly discriminate against the way she looked and over a bit of jewellery aswell. This is so sad to see!0
