Hi to everyone and thanks - vista help required too!

Options
Hi all,

Thanks to everyone for making this site so good. I've been lurking for about a year and persuing the email but I finally posted for the first time this week.

I have joined the DFW club, wrote to ten companies who I settled accounts with in 2003 with the DPA letters and am in the process of drawing up a budget plan. It's the budget plan where I need the Vista help! Has anyone successfully downloaded the MSE budget plan for Vista?

Any tips on cutting back would be great.

Also - I am now limited to electron as I have cut up my credit cards and I would like to shop online to resist buying rubbish I don't need but have found that most online supermarket shops don;t take electron! Any ideas?

Also, do we post details of the budget plan to get feedback? or just a brief list?

Any guidance would be appreciated

in order to get your "ducks in a row" as they say, your best bet is to do a full statement of affiairs, using martins budget planner - sure post it up here we can find ways for you to cut back to create extra money to pay debts off faster :)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Thankyou Lynz, and well done for being debt free! how long did it take? And was it DIY or did another organisation help?

I'll be working on the budget planner today and I've got a tray system going at home now to help me keep on top of things.

Would it be useful to post interest rates on different cards etc when I post?

Also, does anyone know how to speak to a UK call centre for capital one?

I'm trying to get them to freeze my interest and negotiate a repayment plan but I keep getting through to non-english call centres where they don't understand me and just give me CCCS' number. When I called CCCS the guy was pretty condescending tbh so I's rather do it myself!

    Any help is much appreciated!
