Patches of sunshine on the horizon... Blue sky in a year!

With less than a year to go on my IVA I have decided to make the most of this year so that next Christmas will be a complete fresh start for me and my two dd's.
After a year of saving my birthday and Xmas money my laminate floor will be finished today. This is a big lift emotionally as my carpet was filthy, shrunk at the edges and had more tears near the door from the Hoover that bears thinking about! I never invited anyone round or in for a brew as it made me that depressed. It is not the most expensive wood but I'm happy with it. The room is light now and the fact that all the furniture is out means I am not putting it back until I've decluttered which means I see eBay and a carboot looming! I have booked a sun holiday for summer that i save a few quid towards a week to give the girls something to look forward to.
This should hopefully get the ball rolling on my new start.
I still have a few bills to settle e.g. Gas arrears but am not going to post my monthly ougoings unless I hit a blip. I have a savings scheme top up card at work where you get ten percent off so am also going to put money on that.
Off to do some more tidying but intend to update my diary with a more detailed plan but I'm just to much on a high.
Don’t put it down - put it away!

Well been busy decluttering to post. It's is very hard when you are a bit of a hoarder!
I've been the tip twice and the cash for clothing. The latter got me £2.25 but every little helps. The big whiskey jar for coppers is up and running and I started a 20p tin but not sure whether to use this for the wish list for the house.
Listed a few bits on eBay and have a stash of things to go to mums garage ready for the next car boot. She is going to love me!
The house still looks bad to the naked eye but it is organised chaos IYSWIM. Also going to ask to or row drill to up shelves that have been sat there for a while.
Money wise I need to get dd2s bday sorted. Her pressies are bought and have Iceland stamps for food for when family comes. So should spend relatively little.
Well back to being disciplined and the declutter.

    Back again!
Well on the good side because I've been tidying I've not been spending and I will be in the car for fist time since Sunday to go the tip!
I've been busy listing on eBay but need to add photo's to some items later today.
Have moved the sofa and table round and once decorated and the mountain of cables reconnected it will be semi finished.
Apart from going tip, I've eBay to post, few basics to get e.g. Bread and then will continue with declutter. I've realised now that it won't all be done by weekend so am going to be had at it today and then that's it until after daughters bday when I'll finish kitchen.
Hopefully tomoz I can look at finance and get the master budget drawn up.

Just had a wake up call that the odd pounds spent have mounted. After blitzing house today I need to sit down. I'm lucky in that I have no one to explain myself to but also don't want to put my head in the sand when so close to sorting out.

When I have we'll and truly been living in with head in the sand. On paper everything was looking fine but in reality it hurts! I've built up arrears on IVA and leccy and with car tax due am panicking a bit. Mum and dad will pay latter for 6 months as bday pres, spoke to IVA and need to now talk to leccy.

Just found a free spreadsheet app and have put in my daily clicks and finances. Off to check my paper version in a mo. if I stick to being frugal till June then I get my exam marking fees which will loosen things a bit. Then come November with IVA payments done i can re evaluate my monies inc savings.

I know people here wil help with soa but I want to do this myself if I can not to be pigheaded but to know that when my IVA finished I can do it and discipline myself.

I have some money set aside for girls school shoes and I did promise to take cinema, I have 2 vouchers to use and a money off so shoûld only be about £5.10 for all of us and it will stop me being miserable that I always say no we can't do that as I can't afford it. DD1 has also a school trip and brownie camp to pay for but hoping that I an squash this from allotted petrol from this week as it is half term and not had to use car much.

Man, I am having such a pain with my IVA case officer. I have repeatedly told her that I don't get home before five pm and the day she can call is the one day I work late. I have never had problems in the last four years with emailing other cae officers, just her. I tell her this and then instead of replying she sends an email to call. I really feel I am banging my head on a brick wall.
When she was off on holiday the woman who was looking after me had no problems so why does she... Grr!
    Rant over .
