Went in today, bought some hair ties for £1.99 and didn't get anything apart from my change, and a receipt

We went in today and my daughter thought she was spending £3 but the items came up as £1. She was given a £5 off card. I spent £3 just before her and was not given one. I looked on the bottom of my till receipt and said "has the offer finished?" and the girl replied "I keep forgetting to hand these out".0
