Howdee fellow DFWers
We all know that the big changes can make an instant difference to our finances, eg cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky or the gym membership.
But once we have done all the bigger stuff it is sometimes hard to realise that we are still doing DFW stuff each and every day! They may be small things but they are so important!
So, be proud of those small steps that you are taking today and let us all know what you are doing to help you become Debt Free :j
Today I have:
- sent everyone off with packed lunches
- sent off for some freebies after reading Martin's money e-mail (never think of visiting the freebies board, too busy on DFW!)
- loaded another thing on ebay
I will:
- be going for a meeting at the local school about doing some exam invigilating
- trying for a NSD
- paying in ebay sales money off my Egg card
- having storecupboard lunch and dinner
Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning!
Today I will be posting the last of my recent Ebay sales and updating my Ebay spreadsheet to calculate my profit to date. I will then update my sig.
I am taking a packed lunch to work.
I am going out tonight for work's do and am driving, so will have minimum spend on diet coke!

Happy Birthday Emily and good morning DFW's.
Its payday today (and I still had £120 left in the bank from last month). Today I have/will
- Done Piggy comps and clicks
- Checked online banking
- Make minimum payments to the cards so I know that its sorted for the month.
- Packed lunch for everybody
Think that's about it but will report back later if there's anything else.
Hope you all have a good day0 -
How fantastic to get to payday and still have £120 in the bank!! (it's the sort of thing that dreams are made of in the hypno house!!)
Woo hoo, and all that fabby sort of stuff :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Happy Birthday Emily, and hello everyone. Today, lets think:
-put some beans on to soak so I can cook them this evening (its cheap being a vegetarian, sometimes)
- read more of Donglemouse's thread - I've discovered a new figure to worship!
- transfer some money in my current account to a savings account - I *lurve* online banking.
- ug. This one is horrible, and not particularly moneysaving, but its going in anyway: I want lots of positive vibes to me on this one, am desparate. I have to clean the door from the porch to the house. And then the porch. The door alone has three *three* sacs of baby spiders maturing. I can't bear to kill innocent babies, but it has to be done. The mother, who lives on the door, I'll try to save, but she pushes herself into the ninety degree angle between the edges of the window, its impossible to get at her. I should have done it when I first saw her, weeks ago.
- have updated sig somewhat.
- try to use the snowball to check what I should be lobbing overpayments at.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh Karmacat, don't kill those spiders! Wait for them to hatch first, they will all go off and find homes elsewhere. Just think of the Karma!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Morning all and hoppy buffday Emily
Today I:
* will get a lift into work with my lurvly boss
* will not go to the pub with my mates tonight
* will let the man in my life spoil me tonight
* check online banking
* do a bit of tidying up (looking like a bit of a sh1thole chez CG's!)
* buy some much needed things and go via Quidco
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
I know! I know! But my mother's coming to visit in 10 days, and *she'll* kill *me* if she sees it in that state! And I have clients who use that door four days a week! And I can't hack it, I don't like going out the house, its getting crazy!!! The mother is starting to cover the whole pane of glass with her web, tho not a very good one (she must get disturbed with the door opening and closing I suppose, lol)... its really not nice. What if someone brushes the door as they come in? They'll be covered in a couple of hundred baby spiders - and *that* is something I really, really don't want to deal with.
Plus, you know, if killing spiders is bad karma (which I think it is) I'm already doomed. I'll probably be reborn as one and spend my next five hundred lives getting smacked by humans.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
morning all, today I will,
*eat from the cupboards since I stocked up for my visitors
*get dad to help me do some work in the house
*try for a nsd before I go out this evening
have a good day all0
