Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum for hair

Hi everyone, looking for a wee bit of advice!
The one time i've gotten my hair done at a salon, the girl used Super Skinny Serum on my hair, looked fab and i went and bought a bottle and it has lasted me a few years and I love it! However, it is expensive!!!
On the other hand the couple of other things i've tried didn't look as good.

Does anyone have an ideas of something similar - ie for use with straighteners to help keep hair smooth, not frizzy or fly away, and a bit of shine - something that wont break the bank but that will work!

thanks in advance!!!
