just wondered if anyone used the internet to bulk buy to ave money, is there such sites?? surely there must be lol

ive googled a found a few that claim to but im not sure i trust them

looking for like sweets,novelty items for the kids etc kinda like pound shop stuff

Afraid I don't know much about novelty items and sweets, but a close friend of mine buys electronics bits and bobs wholesale and sells them online from time to time, think he mostly uses HB Litherland for his UK wholesale electronics but he also uses sites like Wholesale Deals, www.aliexpress.com and www.globalsources.com to get all sorts of stuff from abroad.

It's just a hobby to him, and I personally couldn't be bothered (margins aren't always brilliant from UK suppliers, and the products he gets from the Far East can be a bit erratic in quality) with the various issues that arise, and filing tax over relatively small amounts; I just don't have the time. But he has made some good money at times, and has managed to get lots of nice electronics things for himself at good prices... I think that's half the reason he does it!
