Advice Needed, Sell up and rent! Massive debt

I think Shakerbaby is a wind up...nobody who is serious would say something so judgemental and rude unless they were some friendless, sad sack with no life themselves.0

I think that you are totally out of order placing this post and if that is the only way that you can feel "GOOD" about yourself then I "PITY YOU".
If this is the only kind of "advice" that you are able to give, then i suggest you keep your comments to yourself.
This board is supposed to be judgement free and supportive.
If you are in a relationship then i pity your "other half" that they are involved with such a shallow person.
Well said!!! People like that are not needed on this site, it takes a lot of courage for people to admit their problems to themselves, nevermind anyone else!

Hi, as Chunky said how rude and please ignore these comments, if anything your situation is likely to make your relationship stronger. Keep strong!0

Why don't you offer some helpfull advice like I will to you later.
When my wife and I started out as newly weds we had a morgage and a good income, savings and the trappings of a good life then I broke my back and went from £800 a week wages to £47 a week sick money....That was back in 1987 and we are still struggling on state benefits today.
....oh the advice for you.....stick your head up your !!!! and see where hemaroids come from.....0 -
Dear Roxy,
I really feel for you it can be tough just being a Parent, without all the debts piling up and the problems this causes in relationships.
I agree with many of the others about selling up and renting for a few years, you are young enough for this to be no problem.
It may sound silly but when things are a bit tight cashwise i clear out all the rubbish and do car boot sales, can make quite a few quid!
My main bit of advice would be that all things come to pass, your family is the most important thing, and don't let money worries affect your health. Treat this as a valuable lesson you are learning and you'll be fine. fingers and everything else crossed for you .xxCouncil tax :0( £12000 -
Firstly Shakerbabe...get a life...
Secondly I think your best bet is to sell up and rent as interest rates are rising steeply at the moment and you don't need the stress....if you have a repossession notice I think the council can help you as they don't vet you as much as a private landlord....maybe worth a try...you are only young and have a long way ahead of you...have you spoke to payplan or CCS for help and advice?...I do not know much about these organisations only that they are free to use so you have nothing to lose....
I agree with everyone else that your family are more important than money....I know you will get through this and will be stronger at the end of it...I wish you luck and send hugs to you and your family0 -
