  • NSD # 5 for me today. :j Spend day expected tomorrow. :(
    SPC 18 Target £200 /
  • NSD3 & 4 in the bag. Well, it's only partway through #4, but I'm at work with a bag full of food and snacks to prevent the dreaded 'second lunch' phenomenon that seems to hit at around 2.30pm otherwise.

Particularly proud of yesterday, since I usually find it really difficult to have NSDs when I'm at home with the kids - I hate not getting out and about all day, and then the temptation to stop and grab a coffee while I feed the baby and buy a juice for the elder is too great. But yesterday a friend came over and we made mini pizzas, then it was still lovely and warm in the late afternoon so we took a picnic to the park and had our tea on the grass. NSD and I felt like a super parent, all in one!

(Thanks for all the thoughts about the fires. I'm not where the current bushfires are, and the forecast where I am is more reasonable now, but I'm touched to receive your good thoughts and shall pass them on to my NSW friends).

  • I'm up and about to get ready for work - really haven't enjoyed this week at all and finding it hard to muster the energy to get going in the mornings. It's not like me at all as I'm very much one who 'gets on'. I generally enjoy my job so no idea what's going on with me. I live in the sun so not even SAD, although quite possibly sun overdose. A good lashing of rain would help! :o

I'm going to have a spend day today as I made a mistake with an iTunes gift card and had to sort that out for my son. It's not all bad as I downloaded some music, which I haven't done in years and will play that in the car this morning to try and boost my mood.

I'll try and get my oil changed after work too so I can get maximum use out of my speedy day :D

    Have a great day everyone.
