which building societies offer 100% fixed rate mortgages for first time buyers who buy a shared ownership property (ie 50% share).

not sure on the shared ownership but halifax were willing to go 100% with myself (for a high lending charge). didn't go 100% in the end but was nice to have the option, they might be worth looking into

Abbey will do a 95% LTV with 5% cashback so you'd only need a few quid of your own.
