Kirsty's programme had a really bad crit last week.I can't stand the Honorable Kirsty...she's so smug. But I am an inverted snob!
Yeah, I lost interest after the first two minutes and switched off.
Like she scours skips......right Kirstie:cool:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Then you missed the shopping trolley seat Natty:rotfl::rotfl:
I think Kirsty has been criticised in the past for popping into places and having bespoke items made 'as you do' but this is going the other way, I didn't mind the expensive stuff - it gave me ideas and there's always etsy...
You heard it here first - this evening I have been embroidering! Nothing too complicated but had to do a sort of blanket stitch not on the edge of something and it confused and befuddled me for quite some time before I worked it out:o just pleased I managed to thread the needles while DS was out.:D
DS and I started watching Mrs Biggs last night not realising it was part 1 of 5, he did say after an hour and a bit "you'd think they would have robbed the train by now" any how that will be our viewing for the rest of the week...Mortgage OP 2026 £350/2000Mortgage OP 2025 £7700/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Superscrimpers really annoys me - particularly the first episode of the new series when they had the annoying 'actress' making truffles and doing up her garden:cool:
On another note, if you've not yet watched it SS - I would recommend Luther (although real scary stuff - well I thought so!!)
I think I would really enjoy embroidery - it looks very therapeutic

I try to avoid anything that needs to be watched weekly to keep track of a story Natty, not that I'm a social butterfly just that I have a terrible memory:o
Think DS is off out with friends today so might actually get round to cutting the grass - hot weather was fab as it hardly grew at all:DMortgage OP 2026 £350/2000Mortgage OP 2025 £7700/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I saw a wee bit of the Kirsty show you were talking about, not for me I must say ... Mirrors out of tennis racquets are not my idea of decoration, I noticed she said a few times ... None of your friends will have this and I thought oh what a snob
Each to their own though0 -
Re Kirsty - I can't believe I'm defending her but I think she meant in a 'you couldn't buy it in a shop' way rather than snobbiness. The toting up bit at the end where the expert says how much the furniture is worth makes me laugh as half of it you couldn't give away:D while we are on tv I rather like the programme where immigrants get taught English, mainly because lots of the folk teaching came with preconceptions that are being smashed and realising they rather like the folk...
Student loan info received today and budgets worked out till next September:o not looking too bad but depends a bit on how much I will need to spend on books etc, (have worked out how much I need to save to provide same income for jun, jul, aug when I don't get money). Have name down to get involved in various stuff at the uni so hopefully there will be some extra money. Looking forward to starting and not spending anymore of my savings! With Luther they seem to only carry it across two episodes although I suppose there is the underlying staff themes running through. First episode was terrifying.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Mmmm...friend is supposed to be visiting today and I rearranged volunteering stuff to suit as this was her preferred day but haven't heard from her to say what time so now in a quandary - does this mean she's going to text at last minute or isn't coming at all? is it just me or is that quite rude? Probably it's just my need to be organised and her being the opposite:D
Money in today and back out quite quickly, AUGUST??? already?

Good it's not just me then! Flat is tidy so I shall get organised and get on with my sewing until about 2 then I'll assume she's not coming.
