Have put five things on ebay, won't make me rich but it's always something. Couldn't work out what we were supposed to be having with the broccoli and potatoes I'd bought.... ahhh the cheap chicken I bought and froze:o so defrosted some sausages and we had them instead!

I haven't been for a few years and hadn't realised they had renovated it so you could go in now. I am up next week with the girls when the school holidays start so will visit then. We went to Millport last year and it was so sunny for a change, it was fantastic.:)

(Many) years ago when I was at school I used to work in the local vets and we went to a house visit to on of the houses beside the carpark- the one big farm house type one right at the water. It was the most amazing house and from what I can remember the living room was on the first floor with the most massive windows over looking the sea. It would be amazing to sit and watch a storm in there. I love those houses/hamlet too:)

Also can't wait for the local tatties and greentails when we get up:cool:

Oh that sounds like my house! There's actually three in the building and they used to have geese? There's not much inside the castle but amazing views from the top, it's a lovely place. Hope the sun is still shining for you next week as it's really fantastic weather here at the moment.

Yes, that sounds like the one! When you move in can I come and have a nosey please? It is an amazing house and view.

I am not holding my breath for the weather holding, they stop on 23rd and we will drive up the next day. It will probably be like winter again by then so we will pack lots of jumpers and wellies just in case and hopefully not need to use them!

DS announced there was no food in the house last night at 10pm and was offered several options that he could make ranging from cereal, toast, fruit to oven chips or toasties if he felt the need, not surprisingly he settled for cereal but I think what he meant was there were no crisps or chocolate in the house... He was also told that there was a multipack of crisps in the car but obviously was too weak from hunger to walk outside:D (He had breakfast, lunch and dinner BTW I'm not starving him!)

Don't you realise that unless there is a Big Mac meal or domino's pizza in the cupboards, this constitutes as nothing to eat in the eyes of a teenage boy?;)

I remember being young and hungry and making my mum list food options and not wanting any of it. Now my girls do it to me and it makes me want to happily throttle them some days, especially if accompanied by whinging!
