    Is gubbed a west of Scotland phrase ? I knew what it meant but just thought it was Scottish ... Maybe it's west of Scotland ... Hmmm

    No, no I'm an 'eastie' and know/use the gubbed phrase. I didn't even consider it Scottish - although I am more used to people describing their depth of knackerdness in more sweary terms;)
