Currently dyeing hair in order to be less 'sparkly':rotfl::rotfl: have a huge to do list but looking forward to ploughing through it and having a tidy home again.

I'm thinking of making April a time of austerity - alcohol free in the main apart from a friend's birthday night out and a ceilidh. Hoping this will save me some money and be good for my health:D

You'd be very welcome El, not planning on doing a Natty and extending it for months mind!
So far all I've achieved on my list is hair dyed and eyebrow sorting... DS's bed is stripped and bedding out on the line but he's back tomorrow and there's every chance his bed will be the first place he'll head so really want to get it made up for him:o must press on...

Ironing done and bathroom cleaned - included a thorough cleaning of the shower screen with vinegar so now reeks of that! perhaps I should have gone with lemon juice... looks like today might end up as an NSD

Vinegar is strong smelling ... But it doesn't half clean well ... Was reading on a Facebook group thing a concoction for defrosting windows with vinegar and water ... I was wondering if there was an end to how useful vinegar is

Apparently you can also dissolve egg shells in it and be left with a naked egg... useless fact of the day:p

I have completed my list:j:j:j

The rest of the afternoon shall be spent sitting on the sofa:D, Dr Who later then maybe a swim and a sauna - depends as I'm allergic to dust and DS's room has brought me out in hives! I should have used vinegar on his wardrobe mirror, it was covered in hair gel and took a lot of furniture polish and elbow grease to clear:mad:

oh instead of saying I'll sitting on the sofa I shall reclassify as researching ideas for my bedroom - pinterest here I come!

Well done on finishing your list. I am just off to read the meters and submit my readings, and then I'm going to check on the washing machine. Poor thing doesn't know what's hit it today - every time it thinks it's finished and can have a rest, I put more in and set it going again!

Your "researching on the sofa" sounds exciting. Do post your ideas on here. I love thinking about ideas for other people's houses.

My washing was almost dry on the line, perhaps the super spinning thing on the new machine was a good idea as it was really cold outside.

Lois I would like shabby chic romantic type room currently very modern ikea furniture that's had it's day, will probably paint in a fairly neutral colour and just add lots of accessories so I can change it if I get bored.

Must get listing on flw and make some money for my dreams...

You know you're an old fart when... you go for a swim, sauna etc on a Saturday evening and are delighted to get into the pjs you left on the radiator when you get home:o bliss!
