Yes, kept many people amused:o:D I was talking to someone last week who was rather nice and very outdoorsy who asked if I would like to go fishing on our first date - had been chatting lots and wouldn't mind going fishing with actual boyfriend BTW so it wasn't completely odd - I said this was breaking all OD rules as it would mean getting in car with stranger and going to deserted place and could he see why it was a bad idea? his reply was that he was a decent bloke not a serial killer... so glad of that cos obviously if he was a serial killer he would have put that on his profile:rotfl::rotfl:I think some folk just can't see the other side - once pointed out most blokes can think about what they'd say if it was their female friend or sister...

Oh and forgot til this morning that appointment at well woman clinic would mean undressing and displaying bruises, I issued a disclaimer first that I hadn't been beaten - nurse found it all quite amusing but she's never going paintballing.:D

Just waiting now on some money coming in so I can get stuck into OPing. Lovely sunny day here with crocuses and daffs everywhere:j:j

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • All this dating talk takes me back. I married oh2 when I was 45 and I met some real shockers before him.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Thank you for that. You give me hope that I'm not yet too old to find the right bloke and settle down.
