Have had a spendy few days and 3 nights out in a row:eek: looking forward to a couple of nights in studying now:o Friday was a ceilidh in the city but actually last night turned into us walking to wine bar and deciding over a drink it was way too loud so buying a bottle of wine at supermarket and coming home again - cheaper, quieter and got to drink it in our pjs:D

We have our first day off together in AGES and the sun is shining so nice walk after I get the washing out (and he wakes up:D).

Very chilled day today with a lovely walk and a coffee with LM then visited my folks later. Went over figures with LM for moving today and we need to save lots of money in the next couple of months so it'll be very, very quiet:o

Back to the books tomorrow, one exam to go then summer is declared!

So where was I? Exams now over but don't seem to be getting any extra hours at work... Thinking I shall go with this for May and get flat finished then see if I can get temp work in June, lovely as it would be to only work one day a week I think my finances would appreciate a couple more and could always work full time over summer then have weekends off in term time - this is assuming there are jobs available! Any how something to worry about in a month's time.

List of jobs is prepared and I shall get started in the morning:D

What are you doing to your flat? Surely it won't take all May?

New kitchen, repapering and tiling it. Also need to paint the hall and stairs. Would be good if it doesn't take the whole of May but need to get folk in and you know what it's like waiting around for them.

I may have spoken too soon, have an extra shift in for bank holiday monday:D Actually had a nice day at work today - quite busy and everyone including boss in a good mood for once. It really does make a difference.

Night in with DS tonight, I made a curry (well Mr Grossman can take most of the credit) and saved on takeaway. Just waiting to find out what film he's selected for later (DS not Lloyd). Reading a book just for fun as uni is over for now and it's bliss!
