Sorry to hear you don't get a break anymore.

I have changed the bed today and it's all already washed, line dried, IRONED!!! and folded and put away. I am superwoman - yep, presentation avoidance...

Boo hiss to presentation. Hope you get it licked into shape soon. :)

PS I have marking again tonight. I think I'm supposed to be a part-timer. I know they only pay me a part time salary. Remind me why I'm marking nearly every evening and going into school every day this week even when I don't have any lessons to teach????

The presentation was awful but it's only a tiny part of the mark so as long as the essay and exam go ok then it's fine...

You do seem to mark lots Lois, thinking of teaching myself but you are putting me off:rotfl::rotfl:

Fell asleep on sofa earlier, it must have been all of ten mins then the doorbell went - I was so confused I didn't even know what day it was:o Having nice evening in with LM and catching up with the zombies;)

Had another NSD but have just realised I still haven't bought a mother's day card or pressie so must sort that out:eek:

Every job has its boring bits that people like to whnge about. Yes, the workload in term time is pretty heavy, but we get school holidays. If you're the sort of person for whom teaching is their thing, then no other job comes close to it, but if you're not suited to it, it's a nightmare. If you're interested, why not arrange to go and observe some lessons. What age group and/or subject would you teach if you did it?

I'm secondary too (11-18 here) but science.

To balance things out, I should mention that I have a marking-free Friday night and weekend now. :)
