Exactly Butti, that's what I said! Also not worth the stress of driving around trying to find a parking space and he knows I bang on about the enviroment anyway so surprised he thought there was any likelihood of a lift - think he was just regretting offering to carry the bag of shopping I'd just bought when he realised how far he was carrying it!

Enjoying a day of doing very little, had lunch - food poor but company good on the upside it was cheap:D
Got home to discover a dress I accidentally bought on bay of e the other night had arrived and it's lovely, not bad for a fiver...
Also found £20 I'd stashed a while back which will come in useful as I'd forgotten the whole new modules = new books bit about next semester:o

Anything on the kindle thats right for you? I mostly have freebies on my account, but I bought a proper counselling book the other day, sort of to save space in the house, and another one that was actually free - one on standards and ethics, the other on adolescent mental health.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I shall have a look thanks, still waiting for reading lists. I do like a book though in my grubby paws, there are usually some in the uni library you can read online but find it easier to use an actual book:o

Got pension statement in today and noticed my death benefits are more than my mortgage so wondering if I should just cancel the decreasing mortgage insurance thingy... Day off today and I've been incredibly lazy:o In my defense I had a really busy weekend and I'm shattered.
DS's phone bill came in today and was £6 over so I demanded an explanation and he actually offered the £6 - did I take it? Of course:D

Today I shall get organised - lots of ironing to do.
Have timetable clash for next semester at uni and it's infuriating having to keep checking emails and website, really hope it gets sorted soon. Then there's only seminars to sort out...
Using up Christmas goodies here so raspberry conserve in my porridge and brie and redcurrant pannini for lunch. Doing some volunteering work later so car will get another day out - 5 in a row which is very unusual for me but I am on holiday!:D
