Pixamania, European plug & refund

I know, this is what happens when you order from Pixmania and don't check on receipt. Still, we are where we are.
I'm the proud owner of a set of headphones. They arrived ~ 1st Dec, were wrapped & then opened on Christmas before being unboxed to be charged today. The lead has a European plug (which is also a 12v transformer, so no snipping it off and replacing it). Even if I wanted to make do and use an adapter, I can't as I need my plugs to be secure.
I've emailed them asking for a returns form, but we're well outside the 15 days they advertise. Any ideas where I stand?

You might get away with it not being 'fit for purpose' as you can't use it without buying an adaptor? I would ring or email them and ask how the problem can be resolved in the first instance.0

Thanks. I worked the words "fit for purpose" into the email
.
Looks like I've been unfair to Pixmania and that they've mended their ways. They've replied to that email within a couple of hours and offered a warranty return, issued an RMA and said they'll fully refund (including returns postage). Things will always go wrong, but so far they've been triple A in terms of how they've dealt with it.0 -
Way-hey! I am really pleased for you. It seems to be a common thing for things to come with European plugs these days, I've heard quite a few instances of it recently. Fortunately I lived in Europe and have a drawer full of the adaptors so not bothered either way!0
