I have done ok this week. My weeks start on the day that I get paid (it is a Tuesday for this payday month) and I have only spent £1.90 odd this week. I have also taken a packed lunch to work on the two days that I have worked since the New Year. I have two more days to go.
Good start!
I have been registering with the baby clubs online so, hopefully, they will help bring the costs down when it is time to buy stuff for the baby. I don't want to buy anything yet. I am starting to feel baby move more and more now which is ace because it is making everything seem real. Oh, and I have also contacted HR in regards of my maternity leave and pay.0 -
So much for wanting today to be another NSD! My kitty is under the weather and we ended up rushing him to the vets. Our vets are lovely! A small, independent practice who really go out of their way to ensure that you and your pets are OK. And they are open Sundays!
Anyway, my boy should be OK. He has to go on a special diet that will, hopefully, restore the pH value of his urine. I ordered a months worth online and my OH paid the vet bills. We each paid roughly the same amount.
Back to work again tomorrow. Christmas seems as though it were a million months ago.
GOALS FOR THE WEEK:
1. Take a packed lunch to to work everyday.
2. As many NSDs as possible.
3. If I have to spend money, it can only be less than a fiver.
4. List some things on eBay.
5. Go for a swim.0 -
Hope that kitty is feeling better now. Its worrying when they're poorly.
Just a suggestion, but it's worth checking if you have any local faebook selling groups. One of the girls I work with is picking up a lot of 2nd hand baby stuff that way. People don't want to ebay it because its tricky to post. She's got some great bargins, lots of which have hardly been used.MFW 2024 £27500/7500 Mortgage £129,500 Jan 22 Final payment June 38 Now £68489.08 FP May 36 Emergency Fund £20,000 100% Added to ISA 24 £8,060 Save 12k in 24 #31 £20,034.76/20,000 Debt Free 31.07.140 -

Hello  He seems to be much better thanks but, knowing him, we are just taking each day at a time. He is quite the character at the best of times so we have to be super observant.
The facebook groups is a fab idea
. I have joined one that is local to me and will keep an eye on it. I have only just plucked up the courage to buy things you see. 0 -
Gosh, I haven't updated this in a long while. Well, where to begin??! I am still slack with surveys. I hate them, I really do but I have blitzed them this morning and sw@gbucked and nectar adp0inted it to my hearts content. I have to do my thinktank work but I am going to take a short break from the computer once I have posted this.
I am slowly but surely listing things onto ebay and have made my first sale. I will have my second sale in a few hours. I really ought to post the first parcel but I don't fancy walking to the Post Office in my condition. I was paranoid about slipping on the ice before I was knocked up so you can imagine how nervous I am now that I am carrying precious cargo.
Speaking of my bump, he is developing beautifully well and I am really looking forward to showering him with kisses and cuddles. Although I am petrified at the same time. I mean, you can't hand them back when they are yours.
We have bought baby furniture and bits and bats. My Amaz0n vouchers have been very useful for the latter. Clothes wise I have only been buying basics. I just don't see the point in cute little outfits when he is a newborn.
I have been trying my best with taking a packed lunch to work. I have only slipped up when I have spent the morning retching as opposed to getting ready. I thought that that stage was long gone! I feel lied to lol
FANTASTIC! I have just booked my first mystery shop of the new year. I have booked it for a day in which I need to be out and about anyway so I won't be wasting petrol. Let's hope that this is the first of many

I have neglected this - shame on me. My extra earnings are coming a long nicely - much better than last month. I haven't added mystery shopping pennies as I like to add them when they arrive in my bank account.
I get paid on Monday - woohoo! I need to be much stricter with myself in the next payday month. I think that I might just stick £20 in my coin purse and leave my main purse at home.
I'm not working today. I had a midwife appointment this morning and everything seems to be going ok. Baby is growing nicely but, as much as I love being pregnant, I can't wait to get back into shape. General moving around is such a faff!
This afternoon, I need to list a few things on ebay and give the house a good clean. Once it is clean, then I am going on strike. My OH seems to think that it is a combination of him and the house fairies that keep the house in check. Hmmm, he will soon learn!0 -

Payday tomorrow - woohoo! Time to par-tay!
I am trying something new for the forthcoming payday month. I used some of my precious Amaz0n vouchers to buy another coin purse and I want to use them to deposit various funds. Quite simply these will be: spends and petrol. Household comes from another pot which is kept in the kitchen. Mind you, that could do with one as well.
As well as my wage, I should receive payment from my mystery shop. I have another one booked for Friday afternoon.
I have also listed some more things on eb@y. Tbh, that is coming along slowly but I'd rather it dripped extra pennies than act like the mother of all droughts. Must list some more things in the week as well.0
