hi
I have sent letters to the creditors explaining the situation were i will have to pay token payments. I sent them about 3 weeks ago and no corrospondence from any of them. They have managed to send me letters to say they have charged me late payment charges. I dont have a phone so i can't phone them ( i got cut off by BT) how long does it take the companies to respond?
I have switched bank accounts now so i just have a basic account with coopprative bank and all my income now goes into there. i am not doing too badly have started saving stamps for food shop. cut back on spending. saved £16 in £2 coins.
started dating a bloke he is lovely. treats me as well to meals out so that helps. Just feel a bit bad as i can't go dutch but he insists and wont take my money when i do offer him it.

Probably worth sending those letters again. They should be responding in 3-4 weeks.0

Depends who the companies are. Some of them (Capital One, Amberloan for example) reply pretty quick and are ok as long as your honest and upfront about your situation and they can see your trying to sort it. If its Lloyds TSB, be prepared for a long wait and unco-operation. Could always write again to the creditors and ask them for a reply to your previous letter (gentle reminder can work especially if your letter is at the bottom of an "in-tray",0
