Hi does anyone know where i can get helium from please, we have a giant air swimmer shark and he has to be filled with the gas. :beer:

not too sure where you could buy it,maybe a party shop or e-bay.i do know that there was a shortage of helium this year.

I also thought there was a helium shortage as some of the card shops had signs up. You could try a local florist who sells balloons they may fill it for you for a charge, card shops, Asda sometimes sell a balloon box that has a small canister in but I havent seen any in a while.

Also, make sure nobody tries to inhale helium if you do purchase any as the consequences of doing so may induce a collapsed lung.

Inhaling helium directly from pressurized cylinders is extremely dangerous, as the high flow rate can result in barotrauma, fatally rupturing lung tissue. However, death caused by helium is rare, with only two fatalities reported between 2000 and 2004 in the United States. However, there were two cases in 2010, one in the USA in January and another in Northern Ireland in November.
