  • Sounds like Liverpool was one of the better ones, they had some half price small and medium Xmas gift boxes, some half price soap, make up, and Twilight and Grass and ?Pinto (the Mexican themed range) Shower Gels.

Went on this morning, got what I wanted....snow fairy! 2 bottles! And 2 bath bomb things. I'm happy, even if it did take the best part of 20mins at around 8.30 this morning

Quite a few gift sets left in Brighton. All the Emotional Brilliance was 50% off, the old perfumes, as well as some haircare and all the individual Xmas stock too.

Annoyingly I was in town at 9:30 this morning and they didn't open until 11, I wanted to go to a few other stores before they got busy and then it's a bit out of the way to go back to.

Cannot wait to hit that sale! But unfortunately as I'm a uni student, I won't be back there til new year :(
Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:
  • Manchester Market Street had plenty of gifts and other things reduced to 50% off.

I had some vouchers to spend and bought a christmas hat box - don't think I would've paid £100 for it, but at half price I thought it worth a go :)

    There were plenty left too.

No, there's not different rules for each store. The sale is

    -50% off all Christmas products
    -50% off all Christmas gifts
-50% off all products made before October

If your shop doesn't have the products in (bearing in mind I think the last delivery for Christmas products was 22/23rd) then it's not their fault they can't offer a lot if they've sold out before Christmas. The point of most Boxing Day sales is to get rid of left over seasonal stock - they aren't going to make more and ship it all out to sell at 50%, it's simply what is left.

If anything, be glad that the shops are selling items in this economic state. And also be glad that all of your items in your local are always fresh if they've sold out of the pre-October range - if you made a purchase mid-year you know that it won't have been sitting on the shelf for months!
