Not sure if this has been posted before now, but Thorntons have reduced their chocolate by even more now. They have massive chocolate bundles for £13 and £25. Delivery is £3.95

Unfortunately, Thorntons chocolates etc are no longer worth buying - which is why they feature in Poundland.
A great brand once - but then, so was Woolworths.0 -
I noticed on my way for the train tonight that the Thorntons in Glasgow Central have reduced nearly everything, a lot less than half price. Not sure if it's all stores as this is the only one I've seen but may be worth a look.0

I've been wondering about this; is it actually the chocolates that have gone downhill tastewise, or is it that there is better quality chocolate more readily available on the highstreet which people are now getting to know, i.e. Hotel Chocolat?Unfortunately, Thorntons chocolates etc are no longer worth buying - which is why they feature in Poundland.

I used to buy my mum Thornton's Continental in the 80s and they Haven't changed the selection at all since then, its the same with Terry's All Gold from the 70s, they were once the best selling chocolates but now nobody considers them any good. unfortunately I see Thornton's days as a high street chain numbered as they have failed to keep their Chocolates interesting and with top quality brands like Hotel Chocolat on the scene these days also.0

I think you've got that about right. They were once seen as a quality confectioner, with excellent, interesting products.
Now they're little (if at all) better than the Cadburys of this world - except that they've got the high running costs of all those shops to handle.
They're living in the past, and have long-since ceased to innovate. Hotel Chocolat wipes the floor with them wherever they open.
Sad to see a once great, well-respected company fading so far, and so fast.0
