I love the view! but I did think I need to remember my PJs....there's no curtains, and what if a man in a yacht just happens to be looking through his binoculars at the wrong time:eek::rotfl:

....a nice room like that and Im worried about the lack of curtains:rotfl:

I was in shanghai on the 52nd floor and as I looked out...there was someone with binoculars in the hotel room next to me:eek: yes, I stuck me head out to look down at the pool and he was peeping into the rooms at the opposite building:rotfl:

p.s. looks like tinyshoes and I are trying hard to tag along...pick me :j

I know what you mean. My daughter used to look at my like I had a tile loose when I used to babble about it. Then she started a photography class at college and she's totally hooked.
The paper is so expensive now though because the price of silver has one up.

A good (and interesting) suprise present for her some time would be liquid light. Great stuff, you paint it onto anything, sack, rocks, etc, then you can print photos onto them. can get great effects. As for the price of paper, get her to google Gum bichromate, could be a very interesting alternative to photo-paper if they have the facilities.

Aww thanks folks. I've been thinking Alot the last few days and it's made feel a little bit reckless:eek::D. My dad was reckless chance taker and I reckon he would be giving me a virtual pat on the back....lol:D

can't believe how much I am looking forward to getting away! I think I need it more than I have realised. I do feel guilty, a bit. But maybe it will do everyone else good to fend for themselves for a few days?

Don't feel guilty, everyone needs a break. Enjoy the view, the wifi and the toiletries, room looks so luxourious. :)

I certainly enjoyed my break earlier this week, was so nice to only have to think about myself. In fact Nikki caught me in the sauna when she phoned to let me know about the Sainsbobs 90% reductions. :rotfl:

ok but don't tell the people I preach my money saving to:eek:

As you know Im going to France tomorrow. Im going to marseille first to speak to a lawyer ( friend of a friend, so:money:) so I thought....seeing as I need to spend a night in marseille, and I am using my small but personal nest egg that my dad said I should spend just on me.......I have booked a room here. I waited until the absolute last minute and got it for €137

I'm sure your dad would have wanted you to treat yourself.
Things haven't been easy for you the last few months you deserve a bit of pampering.

No need, phone was in locker while I used the jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. Only noticed when I had finished and had gone to get changed. ;)

I would certainly recommend the hotel, food in evening was fantastic, breakfasts were pretty good too, just the hot buffet food let it down a bit. Little touches like a fresh loaf you could cut yourself made up for that though and the most delicious little danish pastries much nicer than the ones I get whoopsied at Ts. :D

I really wanted to try one of their champagne afternoon teas but Mr TS would not have appreciated it so I need to look out for an offer to take a friend sometime. According to my neighbour the afternoon teas have come up on Groupon. :T
