Well it finally happened! I knew it was only a matter of time.

I had two 'members'.....actually thats a pretty good term for them as it happens who contacted me last night. This was odd in itself as neither of them talk much and to have them BOTH appear within moments of each other raised my eyebrows somewhat.

Well they both then proceeded to tell me how the other one had been nicked by the police for printing numerous APG's over and over again and how the scoundrel had dragged them into it! What they fail to realise is people DO remember things, even people with useless memories like mine! So its not wise to claim innocence when you've actually admitted to the person you are talking to that you are up to your neck in it! Second culprit was even boasting at a car boot sale to another MSE'er about what the pair of them were doing. I'm not sure of ALL of the facts but it would appear one has accepted an official police caution (his own claim) and the other is still under investigation and has had his home raided and lots of 'stock' removed.

I won't be answering PM's asking who it is, in fact I won't be answering PM's on the subject at all, but I just wanted to draw your attention to these events given what a hotly debated topic it was a while back!

Please try and stay the right side of the law people, we don't want anymore MSE'ers with criminal records! :(
Time to pay the piper then

Does that mean that David. won't get the chance to get his flashgun with CC points?

Unless of course they sell all the stock off at 50%

Just been in T's xpress and got a few 6 packs of quavers and wotsits for 38p.
Works out less than 7p a bag instead of the usual 49p a bag.
Thanks to Karen3112 and hukd for the heads up. :)

    Evening everyone :)

Been workin n lurkin for the last couple of days so not properly caught up, but just wanted to say thank you for this as I had not seen it mentioned elsewhere but caught your post before I left for home this evening, so managed to pick up a few bags on the way home :)

Although not very MSE because I promptly spent most of the money I saved on a dozen or so of the 10p Aero trees :o

I know you lovely lot are fab with your advice, so thought i would ask for some :D

We are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children, currently living in a largeish 3 bed semi house, no garage, medium garden.
we were on the market and have just accepted an offer. Now there aren't many houses out there for us at the moment (we are desperate to move though due to needing to move away from family)
Although, we have seen a lovely 2 bed detached bungalow with garage and larger garden (although on a slope) and we've worked out we could make it into a 3 bed if our children decided they want their own rooms.

Just slightly worried about moving into a bungalow. What are peoples views on bungalows, pro's and con's very welcome please and thank you :)

I live in a bungalow and love it. We have gone up in the roof though and made two more bedrooms.
Ours was a total wreck when we bought it and people thought we were completely mad as we had a lovely big 1920's detached house before. But we knew our endowment wasn't going to pay off the mortgage so we decided to downsize and bought this one for cash, then did it up using the money we would have spent on the mortgage each month. It took us about 5 years to completely renovate/extend it and do the garden etc. but it's now worth more than our old place plus we are mortgage free.
Bungalows are usually worth more than an equivilent sized house and they are normally on bigger plots too.
They are also cheaper to maintain when it comes to any outside work.....and even adding dormers like we did, didn't cost the earth to gain another 2 double bedrooms.
We are thinking of selling this year, and I'd definitely like another bungalow.....especially if there's scope to extend again.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
