I am on wrong computer or I could have quoted itHeatherlea wrote: »Hello Everyone.
I don't post very often these days but I wanted to offer Squigs by sincere heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Loopy. She looked a very loyal and trusting friend from her photo yesterday. I always have 2 boxers and I know how empty the house is when one of them passes on. Your heart feels as though it has been ripped in 2 and you have an awful empty feeling inside. You did what was right for Loopy and she is at peace now.
I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst with my older dog who's 9. We were in Scotland on holiday over Christmas and should have been there for 9 nights but came back after 3 nights as he was diagnosed with heart problems at the emergency vet on Christmas day. He's since had an ECG, heart scan and blood tests. He has congestive heart failure and is on medication but he could pass onto Rainbow Bridge at any time. It breaks my heart every day at the thought of losing him so I don't know how I'll be when the day actually arrives.
I currently feel very guilty going to work and leaving him alone in case something happens whilst he's alone. We're currently looking at buying a webcam so we can monitor him whilst we're at work.
Doggy ((((((hugs)))))) I.e. lots of licksSarahdol75 wrote: »Oooucchhh, I feel for you, I had to have steriod injections in my wrist for carpal tunnel and the nurses had to pin me down, cause it hurt so much. Needless to say I never went back, was supposed to have them every 3 months, ended up having the operation not that its worked.:eek::eek::eek:

I rang doctor's down here and got apptmpt as non-resident at tea time, so I am now on 6 steroids (predis) for a week to boost my breathing. Luckily, no infection, so no antibios needed. Took meds after dinner tonight and they usually work quite quickly so after tomorrow's dose, I should start to feel better. when Steve went to doc's this morning, he was put on antibiotics for his chest infection, and Andy is still coughing after his flu, so we are like a coughing choir here at the moment. Plus, Andy pulled his lower back at work last night so has been in agony today. He still went to work tonight though, as that Mr T is a slave driver  So, all in all, not a healthy household here at moment, only Kit has escaped the dreaded cold/flu/cough and she is so hypo and/or hyper with her diabetes she has just worked and slept. Lots of fun :rotfl::rotfl:
