Savvybuyer wrote: »Another 'glitch' there was that the Terry's Milk Chocolate Oranges (175g) are actually, I think, more expensive in M - although by exactly how much I can't tell you as M's price was too high for me. Also it may be the Matey Bubble Bath is lower priced at M than £1.98 unless the offer's come off on that last week (or I'm thinking of the wrong character version). (Why anyone would ever buy that at £1.98, or even at M's £1.24(?), is beyond me as I went Sv A on it when A were £1, although doubtless that's too expensive too!!)
I don't want to comment on every item, but that Bacofoil surprised me, having a cheaper price at M - although, then again, M's own brand Turkey Foil (no version at A unfortunately) was £1 whilst stocks lasted recently, for same size, so even the Turkey Foil wrap seems a 'mistake' - which I suppose is what to expect if your sister's shopping 'normally', rather than in the, I've decided far cheaper, 'abnormal' way of shopping that we all do. Was the best option if no M nearby.
I hope my sis doesn't read this thread. She will not be happy with me letting peeps scrutinize her shopping:D0 -

Aw thanks dave- I'll just have to find another good buy for spending sada fivers and the like:D Any suggestions:)never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
Looking at that glitch, I assume the optium amount to buy would be 6.
6 x £5 = £30 at Asda but only paying £20 (3 for £10)
3 x (2 for £7) at M = £21
£9 difference plus 10% £2.10 = APG £11.10 meaning net cost for 6 JF £8.90
Obviously the dearer jfs will give a better return but how can we check whether they will compare?0 -

Yep! Somehow I don't fancy any chocolate today lol.
People who are wanting to populate their shiny new Kindles with content, you can buy discs from eBay that have 20,000+ books on them for roughly £5. Not free but very cheap price per book. You load it via your computer.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

I think it's what we all need - if you don't want your purchasing decisions scrutinised/criticised/torn apart, don't put it on here lest this wise sage come on here and rip it to shreds!!! That said, it's sometimes a learning curve for me myself - as someone on here adds: "the person who never makes a mistake..." etc.
That JF was an excellent decision.
I didn't go into looking at the JF in M's, since it was on the previous '3 for 2' glitches and thought we all had it by now. I don't know if the latest glitch is better than that - can anyone remind us how much the JF vs W worked out at?? And compare it with this glitch to see if actually this one is better than the Waitrose one? Thanks.0 -

I think originally it worked out at 16p per item then doubled in price  to 32p each - scandalous :rotfl:I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.0 -
