  • empty tuna cans stink - always consider whether I should be recycling them even after they are rinsed.

I draw the line at recycling tuna cans, still oily after washing:)

just catching up from earlier. I am intrigued by these toilet training ball things:cool: and am thinking I may have gone wrong a long time ago by not investing in some!..........In fact, I may still be able to find a use for them.......my lads are 16 and 11 and it still mystifies me quite how something so small can miss such a big space:mad::rotfl::rotfl:

On a recent rant about sprinkles on the bathroom floor I was told by One that it was because they only had the time between one level (of an Xbox game) finishing and the next level starting to fit a wee in:eek::rotfl:.......so I would say teach them whilst they are young:D

my brothers used to do this and used to blame the games  so one day after sitting in there pee on the seat and stepping in it and making my sock wet i decided id had enough:mad: so i got his pillow and wiped all the pee up and put it in his bed and he slept onit then i told him he never pee on floor again might have been more the fact my dad said if he did it again my dad wuld put him and game down the toilet :rotfl::rotfl: but for once i didnt get a row as my rent we sick of it:D my other younger brother never had that problem :T

Thanks Andi, great post. I nearly missed it as it has all the hallmarks of a "Savvy Special"..

Anyway, I think it confirms what we all already know, however, it is nice to know that an MP is trying to do something about the major supermarkets taking the mick.
Looking at the broader picture it's about time but doesn't mysupermarket allow some of the things talked about? Doesn't of course address the false reductions fully.

On the more selfish front it's possibly the last thing that us exploiters of the crazy price wars might want. The FFetc opportunity came from an over-inflation of the single box price by sada to make the 3f£10 look good. Again from a selfish point of view the more confusion and price changes the better as the systems and staff can't keep up. Just a thought:)
    Awaiting a new sig
