Thank you, it's a horrible thing, strikes so quickly.

But it's another thing they will never have a vaccine for or at least not for a good while.

but it made me realise today youngest son is in one of the groups that are more liable to get it so I went through it with him, what to look out for, one of his mates could arrive at uni in the morning just a bit off colour and by lunch time be flagging ....

My bil had it about 40 years ago ( caught it at Roman Baths in Bath) and his then girlfriend died from it. He nearly died but did recover. However he has had depression problems for a few years and now has been diagnosed as bipolar. The consultant says there is a strong possibility it is connected to the meningitis.

    How is everyone doing? :)
I am shattered, the boy has decided that he no longer needs a nap in the afternoon. The day is so much longer without an hours peace and quiet, i think i might start having one instead. :o:D

I was devastated when my DD stopped having her afternoon nap as well! :o :rotfl:

Brilliant, can someone try this pretty please, trying to think now what else to get as part of a Sada v wait shop.

But I've just looked at mys and it looks like its na at waits for me????

Second reply from me on this, on a different aspect to earlier:

It should be okay, even if showing W as N/A. The Sally at Sains. showed - and still shows - N/A for me, when logged in. S appears with 10p only when logged out (but the product then shows as N/A for Sada for me). Despite this it still compared 8.98 vs 10p on the Sada guarantee for me.

Waities is showing N/A for me as well on MSM for the L'Oreal Paris decrease thing, but when I'm logged out. If I log in, the W and A prices are both there - W is £3. The product is currently on waitrose.com and is showing at £3. My advice is take a screenshot of that, on Waities' own site (plus a screenshot of the product on MSM when logged in if you can get it to show W's price), and you can go to A CS if it doesn't work out properly - it doesn't seem to be a glitch or anything. It seems to be a genuine price that W are selling for, and A should better that by 10% (if you target W correctly on your A shop).

I used to live in Victoria Road and used to tell people my address was Alexandra Palace - never mentioned wood green...there used to be a safeway there in my day .:o

have you ever been to Philip lane?? or downhills park. Every weekend there was an ambulance outside the park.

I can never work out why you have to pay so much to live there. so glad to be in essex:)
