This is off topic, sorry, but does anyone know if there is any way to get an ID card for an under 18 that's free or low cost?

My DS is 13, but looks alot older, and keeps getting charged more for cinema/haircuts etc :(

do you know if you local authority/local bus company are part of the BusID scheme? These are photo-id cards which can be used to show you are entitled to child fares on public transport and are usually issued free to children age 5-18.

Well done to your DS getting a place at Bath. :)

    RANT ALERT

On the note of universities if anyone here ever considers going to Cumbria University I will be round to slap you with a fresh trout. I start back in less than two weeks and am still waiting for my timetable. Last years marking had discrepancy's in it. One staff member did not have the right qualification to teach use so it no longer there. We have not has one guest lecturer or been on one field trip. There is a lot more that I could rant on about but that will be available in my new book currently being printed at the cost of £19.99 available in WHSmiths from June. :D

Sorry for going into a rant but it makes me so mad. :(

wow what book you writing? sounds exciting

Bus pass maybe. My niece had one when she was 15 as she was always being charged full fare a year or two back.

Ok sorry about this but can everyone please send out some old fashioned positive thoughts and prayers please. Just had a shocking message from eldest child, her future m-I-l was taken by ambulance this morning, started off just with a cold but it looks like meningitis. Now on life support in icu, heart rate too low ...
Puts all of our worries into perspective
It really does. Sending a prayer for her.
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
