Oh thanks for your kind words.

Must admit I did shed a few tears but at the end of the day they are birds and i have to keep things in perspective.
I read obamas post after I posted mine and felt guilty. So many people have had a tough Christmas:o

I sincerely hope 2013 proves to be happier for a lot of people:)

    Attempted trouting on Mad

Was in Sada and having selected my ill gotten gains the fire alarm went off:eek:
Waited outside for about twenty minutes (had a womble);)

Finally went back in after the all clear and retrieved my basket.

Chucked over a £1 coupon with my shop and got the dreaded "oh I don't think we can accept these" as she rang for the supervisor.

He came over, they whispered, she said no.

"Nothing wrong with it and I want to use it as it's going out of date today". I said

She called the supervisor again. Same whispering he disappeared and again she said no.

"Look! There is nothing wrong with it and I find your attitude and especially that of your supervisor rather rude".

"Did you print it off the internet" asked the SA.

"Yes and I want to see the Manager" I replied.

She buzzed yet again for the supervisor.
He actually talked to me this time.
SA "Did you print this off the internet?"
Mad "Yes! It's a safe coupon there is nothing wrong with it".
SA "These can be copied, we've got a list of copied coupons".
Mad "Are you accusing me of fraud? See if you can find my one, bet you can't".

SA "We can't take coupons from the internet anymore"
MAD "Yes you can and yes you do otherwise the Asda Price Guarantee wouldn't exist"
SA " Oh err scan it for him this time"

Evening all...well as promised I'm back (OK ..don't all cheer at once ;)..but have to say I still haven't time to catch up or read every post so apologies. Had a sort out of the freezer(s) today and along with the cereal stash, cleaning stuff, toilet rolls, shampoo and other toletries I've decided I should not go shopping at all this month :eek:...note I said should not and not will not:rotfl::rotfl:

will try to stay awake tonight and join in with the chat :D

So nice to see you back. :j:T:j

They broke them all. There used to be one in the kids toys section and one near the tea and coffee. I actually saw the manager at the Ba£ley store bashing the one up near the toys!

Trying to get DTD or a glitch to work at Ba£ley is not easy. The CSD staff are well on the ball.

you shuld ring and report that i would ;) and express how much you miss it and want it back ,

  • I wasn't even going to bother putting my own receipt into apg tonight but thought I might as well just to look at comparisons. Had not done targeted shop in anyway but.... believe it or not Revlon false eyelashes are 90p cheaper in T's!,
Only bought as Boots order not due til Monday and needed for Friday night.
Bought because they were a good price but might have to buy a few more if giving a good return:)
