afternoon lovelies,
thought I had better blitz the en suite bathroom in readiness for OH if he comes home tonight.
Just started and the phone rang, it was work.
The head of department has refused me leave for friday, end of story!!
I told my manager that it was disgusting and appalling and that there was no way I could leave OH as hospital had stated he was at risk of a bleed for 48 hours after discharge.
In the end they got another girl to cover for me but I will have to work 6 days in a row next week in exchange.
At least it is sorted but I am livid, reason they gave was there was not enough notice.
I replied " so if he had an accident and was in hospital would you still need notice ? because the result is the same"
She couldn't answer, but came back with some remark about seeing my point.
Sorry, won't mention it any more but blood pressure through the roof and extra stressed as I know he is in theatre now.....will go get that tea, me thinks...thanks guys. xx
Morning guys!
I'm just catching up and saw this. Wendyak, may I respectfully suggest that when this stressful period in your life is over in a few weeks, you get yourself a better job working for some far nicer people? They don't deserve you, hun. xxHope is not a strategy.0 -

Don't think I've tried Nouvelle but I'll give it a go. I'm also quiet fussy about my loo roll. I really like the Nicky brand they sell in Quality Save and its cheap, also I like Sadas own brand with shea butter as it smells nicetigerwhite wrote: »I'm not hunting nouvelle today, I got a few packs a while back (paid 50p per 4 pack) and I thought it was rough and not one I'd buy again. Give me cushelle or andrex for my peachy, soft bottom anytime
