  • Had a quick trip to Ts earlier in search of the cheap toilet rolls. Unfortunately there was no sign of them.

Suddenly i thought, hang on a wee minute, today is Wednesday and what happens on Wednesdays??

Yep, you got it, Wednesdays are dtd days!! Straight down the wine aisle and found two nice deals, but which on do I go for?

Deal 1 - Posh white at £16.99 with an ood sel for £8.49 (only one available)

    or

Deal 2 - Sparkling Pinot Grigio at £11.99 with an ood sel for £5.99 (only twelve available)

Believe it or not, I went all posh and settled for the one bottle of white.

*** If there are any of you who can get to Cr4wl3y tonight, check the sparkling pinot grigio on the back wall, there are rich dtd pickings to be had, at least 12 bottles of them!!:D:D ***

I had a few vouchers on mine too - will this present a problem as they included reduced meat which wiped out most if an Ariel PP.

    Many thanks

Hope not, have scanned and sent. Was reasonable size pre-xmas shop, start £98 then deals and coupons only paid £42. But thought £42 was ok to send them, not like it for free (this time!)

Morning happy driving, did I see you mention about only getting pakora up here in Scotland ?

I thought it was a traditional Asian dish, not a Scots Asian dish, I am finding that really interesting, the girls I used to work with in call centre used to make it for our staff buffets - lovely much better than supermarket ones : )

It seems hard to find down south. You can get it in Indian restaurants if you ask but it's almost never on the menu, the locals have never heard of it, and you don't get the spicy sauce with it (more like a minty raita like you get with fish pakora).

And I'm back home safely! Cheers everybody. Horrible driving with queues and loads of fog on the M6!
