I just got back, glad u posted just then or I may have missed your post:)

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=58277081&postcount=4065

I will keep it updated until these lovely mse'rs chek in with us, naughty they are not being here I say;) Just joking, hope they all know they are missed and will come back asap so I can put a :j after their name and a strike through it just like I did with fudgie's today, whilst grinning like this:D

Quite right FunkyFeet, the reason why so many deserted the thread was said to be due to all the in-fighting and unpleasantness especially during the mass APG glitching days. Things have returned to normal and the Elite thread is again the lovely comfy friendly place it was, but that is thanks in the main to the people who stuck it out and continued to post, plus the lovely bunch of newbies we have now. These newbies are fully fledged Eliters now and are a credit to the thread :j

So where are the existing Elite who left for safer ground? Why don't they return when they said that the arguments where spoiling the thread? Yes, I see why they left, but, honest folks, it is safe to come back into the water now

The Elite thread is once more what it was before, but it is still missing it's heart. The people who started it off and made it what it became, a legend. PLEASE come back HOME guys :(

    Just my opinion :D

somebody please watch the thread for me and stop davemorton doing a davemorton(c) if he tries:)

edit: 3dogs, I know u are here now, so u for starters please keep a watch out, I'll be right back and yes I quite agree with your post above...just didn't want to talk of those 'catty' individuals as they are no longer here and we are back to the friendly thread we are...I even thought of leaving myself one of the days when the insults whose people were throwing at others were so rude and just uncalled for! back in a bit to chat more x x

Get to bed and get a good night's sleep girl. If you are tired at any point pull over and sleep. Don't forget to pack a bottle of water to stop you getting dehydrated - drive carefully hun and let us know when you are safely back:A

Sorry for the mummy type advice:)

Ellejmorgan used to post quite regular, with her sister, on here - so yes she would be classed as mia, so to speak. Be good to see French Knickers post again -

Just popped in to say thank you for all your kind comments & support after my bad news posted on here & via a mutual mse friend.

You are all very kind, its going to take a while getting over losing a friend I seem to have known forever & probably knew me better than I know myself.:(

:A Been thinking of you lots and lots :A xxx
oooooo do you? awwww aren't they just a fabulous breed, toys are just a puff of fluff? Pixie is in my avatar and I just posted a pic of Bear, I'm not very good at posting pics, I have to get DS to help and he's watching footie!

Yes they are just little puffs of fluff :D They are both gorgeous you little ones. Mine are cut even less like poodles so they're even more fluffy! Poodles are wonderful :A Don't appologise about the piccie posting, it's ok. I love Bear's jacket :D

Most of us would love to see Happy Chappy posting here again but he is banned, unfortunately :(

As for French Knickers, I am sure we will see more of him again ;)

    Evening all!

Saw snap-ants post quoted about leaving school when she was a wee one and reminded me of my dd2.

When she was 5 she was at little infants school that was just down the road from our house and walk able to without crossing any road. Dd2 and her class were sent out of the class to get their pe kits and she said to her class teacher she as going to get hers. Little did he know she meant from home!!

My tiny little girl walked out of school past the receptionists. Thankfully I happened to be at home for a change when she arrived. I was furious with the school. She bless her was really upset because I was cross with her saying "but I told teacher I was going". He had thought she just meant from the hall.

She never did it again and learned to explain herself a bit more clearly. Dread to think what could have happened if we"d lived further away!

These stories all made me laugh but I had my mum in tears as I did the exact opposite.
When I was two I decided it was time I went to school as my big brother went and it wasn't fair.
I slipped out of the house while mum was looking after my brand new baby brother and went up the road and into the playground.
A teacher spotted me and opened the double doors they had in each classroom.
She sat me down with some pencils and sent a note to the office.
A little while later a distraught mother came into the playground, she opened the doors and beckoned her in. They couldn't tell her as they didn't know who I was and were just about to call the police.
In her hurry mum had left the new born baby in the pram at home !!
She said she cried for ages, more with relief than anything.
Needless to say she had no problems when I eventually started school as I was very keen:)
