Coke is 3 for £3 in Tosco and 2 for £2.50 in Asads. Best result is when you buy in sixes in A, so it compares £11.88 to £6, even though you have only spent £7.50. Apg per 6 cokes equates to paying 17p per bottle.
Hope it is still a goer tomorrow!!:D
Cheers Sfsb think I have it now.
Luckily for me I did buy 6 in my first shop and 6 out of my 8 in the other shop compared ok. I only left home at 3.40pm to do my shops before 4pm so did not read your earlier post properly but have missed a few glitches lately as they have not carried on until the next day. Happy I have 3 nice APGs to use now all under £10 just how I like them. :T0 -
Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »To clarify, if you are doing an A v S shop, buy in twos. If you are doing an A v T shop, buy in sixes as that gives the best return and equates to 17p per bottle.
£11.88 - £6.00 = £5.88. 10% of £6.00 = 60p. APG = £5.88 + 60p = £6.48.
Pay £7.50, apg for £6.48 means you pay £1.02 for 6 bottles which is 17p per bottle.
Sorry, I haven't experimented with an S shop so son't know how coke compares with them.:D
Ooops, my bad I divided £1.02 by 3 not 6, wow much better to buy 6 then.:D0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Indeed. At the risk of sounding very stupid, are there any ways you already know whether a receipt is going to be worthwhile checking or not? Or do you take all you find and check them all? (Unfortunately my Sada's car park today absolutely spotless - even went up to a trolley, parked right at the back of the car park, that looked like it had a lot of paper in it. But didn't turn out to be a receipt.)
[I didn't mean whether you can see it has less than 8 items. I meant whether you can tell, from looking, whether it's likely to hit more of a 'jackpot' or not.]
If anyone will be able to tell by looking at it my money is on you :rotfl:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

I had a spare 5 mins yesterday before taking my girls to watch Room on the Broom show in London and i asked if i could use my voucher on sale items in a small BS round the corner from the Lyric Theatre and both assistants said yes.
:T So very happy.
My 9 year old found me the voucher whilst out Xmas shopping with her Dad, she said she had a hard time keeping it a secret, as she had wrapped it up for me for my Xmas present. Such a proud Mum when i opened that present, as we have been looking together for ages for a £15 card.
That is so sweet. What a good girl.0 -
